Well, considering that South
Africa is really huge, I guess 52 murders everyday is considered
low.
Your friend is a guy so he
should be safer from rape since the estimate for rapes every year
in South Africa is 500,000.
Not sure about scams,
robberies and theft though
most of the crime is not reported..
